Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist, Clinic DirectorOriginally from Tehran, Iran, Maryam moved to the United States in 2013 to attend graduate school and obtained her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Tufts University with a focus on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Maryam then completed her fellowship in Hand Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston working closely with hand surgeons and 12 CHTs. Through her trainings Maryam has also obtained a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Management and one in Gerontology.
Maryam has experience working with various and complex diagnoses involving the upper extremity. She is certified in ASTYM therapy and also specializes in:

Nutritional Services Program DirectorMargret Lyons earned her Bachelor of Science with a focus in Nutrition/Dietetics from Bastyr University.
Margret specializes in dietetics and is most interested in helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle and allowing them to focus on being better, not perfect!
In her free time, Margret enjoys running, hiking/climbing, and gardening.

Occupational TherapistEmily (she/her) earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Muskingum University and her Bachelor of Music Performance from Central Washington University. She also holds an Associates of Applied Science degree in Behavioral and Social Services as well as an Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant, both from Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
Emily has worked in hand therapy since 2018 where she started as an occupational therapy assistant. During the COVID pandemic she elected to return to school in order to get her OTR license. She completed her clinical rotations in industrial rehabilitation and hand therapy. Emily believes that the upper extremity should be viewed in a holistic manner therefore, she often incorporates the whole body in her evaluation and treatments. She thrives on thinking outside the box and collaborating with her patients to help them achieve their goals.
Emily is a proud member of AOTA, WOTA, NBCOT and ASHT. She also serves as the chair for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Advisory Committee at LWTech. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing escape rooms, playing games and watching her favorite show “The West Wing”

Occupational TherapistPaige earned her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Western Michigan University and moved from Michigan to Seattle, WA in 2023. While in occupational therapy school, Paige completed her student fieldwork clinical rotations in outpatient hand therapy and inpatient acute care/ICU. She is a proud member of ASHT and has taken continuing education courses relating to upper extremity anatomy and orthotics fabrication.
Paige is passionate about occupational therapy because it allows patients to return to the activities that they love to do. She structures her treatments to include activities that are meaningful and unique to her patients. Outside of work, Paige enjoys weightlifting, snowboarding, hiking, and learning Spanish through daily lessons.
