What is Lifestyle Medicine?
Lifestyle Medicine includes programs specifically designed to promote physical activity, improve diet and nutrition choices, and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
RET's assessment and coaching strategies are targeted to guide you to get the most out
of being physically active, finding diet and nutrition changes that work for you, and to adopt other lifestyle behaviors to improve your overall health and wellbeing. As your partner in your health journey, our goal is to give you the tools and support to make true, lasting change!
Program 1 | LIFESTYLE 365® - Your Ultimate Individualized Prescriptive Exercise Program
After an assessment to evaluate your lifestyle and overall health concerns, our expert Exercise Physiologist will create a personalized fitness program for you. To encourage your success, and measure your progress, we provide monthly check ins, take biometric measurements, and make changes as necessary to your program.
The tools you'll use for success:
- InBody scale to obtain body fat percentages, muscle mass weight, and much more
- Circumferences and vitals measured monthly
- VO2 submax testing, strength testing
- MyWellness platform by Technogym to view, track, and edit your body measurements, prescribed exercise plan, and activities outside of the gym from your mobile phone
- 24-hour fitness facility access
- State-of-the-art equipment and facility
- Access to our exercise physiologist via messaging as well as in-person contact
Program 2 | LAUNCH - Exercise Program & Nutrition Counseling
Who benefits from LAUNCH?
This program is designed for people currently working with a Registered Dietitian. You will team up with one of our exercise physiologists to design an effective exercise program based on your health history and personal goals.
What is included in LAUNCH?
- Three 30 minute appointments
- Learn how to exercise properly and effectively
- Baseline measurement (movement screening, body fat, muscle mass, blood pressure, and more)
Program 3 | BRIDGE - Guided Exercise Program
This program bridges the gap between your Physical Therapy treatment and long-term performance and wellness goals. A typical round of Physical Therapy includes 8-12 visits, and the Bridge program can extend your care through partnership with a skilled Exercise Physiologist to prescribe individualized exercise for long-lasting health benefits.
What is included in BRIDGE?
Patients who want to make life-long health improvement will benefit from Bridge sessions. A professional will help you to safely increase your exercise, while individualizing your exercise plan based on health history, and individual goals. Depending on your diagnosis, Bridge can start as early as Week 2 in your physical therapy treatment plan!
