COVID PROTOCOL

RET Sports Medicine Camp follows all CDC, State Health Department, and local governmental COVID-19 guidelines.

Through daily temperature checks, signs and symptoms screening, wearing of masks, hand washing, diligent cleaning, and following social distancing protocols we are keeping our campers safe.

Youth Summer Camp

RET Physical Therapy is dedicated to educating a new generation of students interested in working with physical science to help patients heal. This summer, we have two camp options for interested students, Sports Medicine Camp, and Strength & Conditioning Camp! These camps are geared to middle and high-school students.

Sports Medicine Camp

Join RET Physical Therapy for an interactive summer learning experience in the growing field of sports medicine.

Every week, students will learn in a hands-on lab and classroom curriculum led by our certified athletic trainers. Daily, expert guest speakers from various healthcare professions will expose students to the wide variety of sports medicine career options.

Students will be introduced to current topics and skills including:

  • Ankle taping
  • Concussions
  • ACL injury prevention
  • Functional movement testing
  • Massage techniques
  • First aid
  • Injury rehabilitation
  • Pain neuroscience
  • Metabolic systems
  • Nutrition
  • Sports psychology
  • Biomechanical assessment

Camp Details

Who: 7th - 12th grade students

When: June 28th - August 6th

Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Where: Curtis High School

Price: $150 per week

Course content for each week is designed for either a stand-alone one week session or a two week experience.

Strength & Conditioning Camp

This summer, come work with our nationally certified athletic trainers and strength & conditioning coaches to bring your athletic prowess to a new level.

Upon beginning the program, our staff will conduct baseline assessments in agility, speed, and power. Over the course of four weeks, they will guide the students to improve upon their measures and reach new goals including: developing strength, increasing mobility, improving conditioning, and preventing injury.

Who: Ages 8 - 19

When: June 1st - August 14th

Where: University Place Physical Therapy

Price: Varies

  • Group sessions - $130
  • Two 90-minute sessions per week for four weeks
  • Individual sessions - $30/$60 per session
  • Available as 30 or 60 minute sessions

Session options are as follows:

June 1 - June 25: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday

June 29 - July 23: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday

July 27 - August 13: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday

*Friday individual sessions are optional for all weeks
