Anne D.

Anne Dahlin, OTR/L, CHT

Clinic Director Anne has 21 years experiences as an Occupational Therapist . She has practiced in a variety of states: Florida, Hawaii, Texas and North Carolina prior to settling in Seattle in 2006. Before specializing in hand therapy in 2014, Anne spent the first half of her professional career treating patients with neurological injuries/accidents , post-surgical orthopedic cases , as well as multiple trauma related cases of the upper extremity in an acute hospital and Rehab settings. She worked at UW Valley Medical Center for 10 years before entering into working in private outpatient arena. Anne enjoys all aspects of hand therapy and uses a holistic approach in collaborating with her patients in achieving what is important in their perspective in returning to their definition of health and function. She enjoys fabricating and designing custom upper extremity orthoses for post-surgical management as well as for facilitating functional grasp and prehension for carrying everyday objects. Her professional interests are rehabilitation of trauma related injuries of elbow, forearm, wrist and digit , myoelectric prosthesis training/education, nerve injury, degenerative arthritic conditions , Silver Ring splint fitting and scar management through kinesio tape. When outside of work, she enjoys watching her son play lacrosse, traveling and when it rains - completing do it yourself projects around the house and yard.

Alisha Powell, COTA

Occupational Therapist Assistant Alisha graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Green River Community College in 2013. She has devoted her career to specializing in orthopedics and hand therapy because she understands the importance of being able to use our hands in daily tasks to connect with the world around us. She aspires to return and restore function to maximize engagement in occupation and leisure activities. Your rehab goals are her top priority! Her mission is to improve the quality of life for all those she encounters and is looking forward to being a part of your rehab team! In addition to her work she is very family orientated. She is the busy mom of a toddler and loves spending time with her loving husband of 10 years. Interests include: playing with her dachshund, eclectic music appreciation, yoga, going to concerts and camping.
