At Bellevue Physical Therapy, your Physical Therapist will create an individual therapy program that is specifically developed for you based on a complete evaluation of your condition. Our rehabilitation philosophy is to promote healing through a combination of exercise and manual therapy, as well as to educate our patients in injury prevention, body mechanics and self-help techniques. We aim to provide you with the best physical therapy experience in Bellevue.
We work with each individual patient and their physicians to design a treatment program that fits their lifestyle to ensure that our patients have the best possible outcome. The ultimate goal is for you to return to normal activities of daily living, work and participation in sports or recreational activities. Our treatment approach first focuses on decreasing pain, edema and muscle guarding to improve joint motion.
As you improve, your exercise program will progress to fit your needs for coordination, balance, endurance and strength training. You can expect your physical therapy experience to be unique, one on one and allow you to meet your individual goals. We are able to assist you with transitioning from exercise for rehabilitation to exercise for health maintenance, cardiovascular improvement, return to work and/or enhanced athletic performance.
Evidence has shown that even moderate weight-loss (5%-10% of current weight) achieved from a nutritionally sound diet and increased physical activity has been proven to:

Emily Taylor, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist Emily attended Seattle Pacific University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology prior to receiving her doctorate in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University. She has a passion for treating all types of pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women to assist them in achieving their best quality of life. She believes that every person should be given the chance to have a continent, well-coordinated and pain free pelvis.
Her passion for pelvic floor therapy began in physical therapy school while learning about how many people were affected by incontinence, poor coordination and pelvic pain as well as how underserved this area of physical therapy was. She then underwent an emergency which left her with pelvic pain and other urinary symptoms where she personally learned how life changing pelvic floor therapy was.
Emily has received additional pelvic floor training from both the APTA’s SOWH as well as training through Herman and Wallace to be able to better serve the range of pelvic dysfunction in both women and men. She starts by getting to know what the patient’s goals and priorities are, then works to evaluate the patient’s dysfunction. Her priority is to treat the patient in a manner where they feel respected and comfortable.
Emily believes that each patient should leave empowered from their sessions to be able to manage their symptoms and make continual progress. She not only evaluates the patient’s goals, priorities and pelvic floor function but considers the body as a whole in order to treat the whole person.
Emily has a love for the outdoors and enjoys spending her free time in the mountains skiing, hiking, climbing, running or riding her bike. She also enjoys playing with her dog and spending time with family and friends.

I had a wonderful experience. Everyone that I worked with was knowledgable, kind and professional. They were able to explain to me exactly what was causing my pain, how the exercises worked to remedy it and things I could alter in my off time to help as well. I couldn't be happier with the team! 🙂read more
Everyone in this clinic has been great. Kelly has been awesome and knowledgeable. She was so accommodative and helped me and husband mentally as well as physically. She was the best counselor. I highly recommend to see her if you are visiting this center for physical therapy.read more
This is the 3rd P/T office I have needed in my life, and definitely the one by which I am most impressed. The staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain why certain muscles need to be activated and how to activate them. They send me home each week with a detailed color-illustrated list of what to do. Thank you! My pain is gone!read more
Got into a rear end car crash and was struggling with my left side for weeks until I went here. The staff is friendly, and the work they do is great. Gordon and Julie are amazing! They are extremely knowledgeable about how to help when one's body is not functioning like we want it to and/or how it should! They view the 'whole body' and assess how things are 'holistically' connected. You will be thankful for their expertise!read more
Could not be more satisfied with care and treatment I've recieved over the years. Jeff Carlson, A+++
The staff was very kind and always cheerful. I will miss them all when I go back to Spokane, they were all great to me.
Great program and wonderful staff. I would highly recommend to others.
I owe a great big portion of my sanity since starting treatment in 2008 to Cindy Campbell, LMP. She has worked with me through a car accident injury as well as two pregnancies and several surgeries and I know I wouldn't be feeling as well as I do without her. She is absolutely wonderful. I can't thank her enough.
