Golf Fitness at Palm Desert Physical Therapy
Our Golf Fitness program will help you elevate your game by creating an individualized stretching, strength and conditioning program to improve your performance on the course and lower your score. Our program is an innovative blend of fitness, conditioning, technology and sports medicine that is unlike any other program in the world.
Evaluation (1 hour)
Your Golf Fitness program will begin with a one-on-one evaluation of your golf swing including your setup, balance, posture, swing mechanics and motion and fluidity of your swing. Utilizing our physical screening program, we will measure your ability to generate and transfer speed and determine the most efficient energy transfer throughout your body. We will isolate any physical limitations, correlate these findings to your swing technique and prescribe a custom-conditioning program.
Training Session (45 minutes per session)
Based on the outcome of your initial evaluation, these are some of the things that you’ll be working on in your training sessions:
- Simple strength and conditioning exercises you can do anywhere.
- Stretchning program you’ll follow each time you pickup a club.
- Long game
- Short game
- Guru Balance
- Guru Posture
Follow-up Sessions (15-30 minutes)
We are here for you even after you’ve completed your golf fitness program. Whether you want to stay fresh or continue to improve your game, our Follow-up sessions are a perfect opportunity for you to spend time in our facility working with our professionals.
