I was born and raised in Minnesota and earned my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training at Mankato State University. I completed my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Washington University in St Louis and decided to move West, arriving in Washington in 1997. When not at work, I enjoy exploring with my wife and two daughters, trail running and going to concerts.
My education at Washington University was focused on Movement System Impairments and I have made that the focal point of my practice. My evaluation process involves observing how your body moves and looking for the dysfunction that is contributing to your pain. Patient education is also an important part of my treatment as I want the patient to know what is contributing to their condition, how the surrounding tissues impact their recovery and how we are going to meet their goals. Ultimately, the outcome I want of my patients is for them to leave therapy with their goals met and to have the knowledge base and tools necessary to prevent a recurrence. I specialize in working with throwing athletes, but I enjoy the challenge of helping all my patients reach maximum potential.
BS in Athletic Training from Mankato State University, 1990
MSPT from Washington University in 1992
- Testimonials -
“I became a patient at Snoqualmie Physical Therapy after my right knee replacement surgery in December 2014. When I first started my therapy I had very limited mobility and strength in my knee. After several sessions with Mark, I have successfully reached my goals and am well on my way to a full recovery and performance of my normal activities. My orthopedic surgeon, Dr. S. Ratcliff was extremely pleased with my range of motion and degree of bend. Thank You, Mark for a job well done!”-John Noll
