Richard Barnes, DPT
Physical Therapist Richard Barnes has been practicing physical therapy in the Seattle area for 8 years. Before moving to the PNW he was an instructor at Loma Linda University in Southern California. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and an assortment of treatment approaches and manual skills. Richard has a genuine passion for his patients and will strive to find functional solutions for their problems. He enjoys tailoring his patient care to meet the needs of each individual in his care. He has worked closely with high school football players, runners, and athletes from all sports. He also works with collegiate runners and working professionals. He enjoys working on biomechanics to change stride length, resolve power deficits and solve most of the other common sport specific injuries. He specializes in neural tension deficits, as well as shoulder problems, in addition to lower quarter biomechanics. Away from the office he enjoys climbing mountains, running and reading, but will most commonly be found out with his wife walking their two dogs.
